Local Awards Nods & The 4 Marketing Benefits to Run With

Like the Meryl Streep of The Business Courier’s Fast 55 awards, Emerge was again a finalist for the 5th year in the 13 year strong recognition program which ranks the fastest-growing private companies in Greater Cincinnati.

For the past 13 years, The Business Courier has been ranking Greater Cincinnati’s fastest-growing private, for-profit companies through its Fast 55 program. To be considered, companies must be based in the Greater Cincinnati region and have a have a minimum of $1 million in average revenue over three years.

“We are thrilled again to be recognized as a top growing company in the region, 8 years strong of continued, steady growth,” stated Emerge Managing Partner Jesse Kegley. “It’s a great feeling to see those awards for all the years in our office, a true testament to our efforts.”
While Emerge has been a part of the winner’s circle for other prestigious local awards such as The Best Places To Work, The Northern Kentucky Chamber Emerging 30, and ranked highly in the Inc 5000, after 8 years there is a sense of “always the bridesmaid, never the bride” with the Fast 55. What is a company to do when the winner and finalist trophies from local and national recognitions pile up? You go to marketing.

With each recognition, your marketing department is given the opportunity to promote and develop four critical messaging elements:

1. Affirmation. Local and national business awards affirm the presence of your brand / product in the market.

2. Validity. The credible validation from an evaluation from an independent, third party compared to other similar businesses.

3. Brand. Not only does your brand get a boost, but your business has the transferred brand equity of the award-giver as well and your business then will benefit from its promotion of the award and it’s own brand strength.

4. Confidence. Local and national business awards are a trust symbol that lend to the credibility that your business is better due to this recognition.

“Five years to be a finalist for the Fast 55 is outstanding, quite literally being in your own category for a business award is a pretty great feat and very exciting to talk about.” Amanda Frietsch, Emerge Marketing Coordinator.

Emerge looks forward to celebrating it's 6th year in 2018.
